In this guide
Use this as a flexible sequence for a day around the north. Start with Mont Choisy, leave room for Grand Baie, and make Trou aux Biches an optional sunset stop.
Your day, with room to change
These stops are an editorial suggestion, not a timed or booked tour. Choose the beach closest to the kind of day you want and skip a stop if you would rather stay longer.
The sequence assumes that you will arrange transport between places. Check the route from your accommodation and decide where the day should finish before setting out.
Your days, at a glance
A northern coast day
Give one beach most of your time. Make Grand Baie and the late-afternoon coast stop optional, with transport arranged between them.
Make the route fit your stay
For a shorter day, choose Mont Choisy or Trou aux Biches and keep Grand Baie for a meal. For a beach-only day, leave the town visit for another outing.
If you are staying outside the north, consider making just one beach the focus. No fixed drive times are assumed here, because the journey depends on your actual starting point, route and traffic.
