Give Pereybere its own place in your northern shortlist. Compare it with the longer beach day at Mont Choisy, then choose the one that suits your group.

What brings you here

Pereybere is a proclaimed public beach in the Rivière du Rempart district. The Ministry of Tourism includes it in its northern lagoon-zoning programme alongside Grand Baie, Mont Choisy and Trou aux Biches.

A useful way to plan is to choose between a beach-led day and a town-led day. If you want both, keep the meal or town visit flexible instead of assigning each stop a tight arrival time.

Plan the day around it

The lagoon-zoning report describes maintenance in 2022–2023. It establishes that zones are managed here, but it does not establish the position or condition of every marker today. Follow current signs and local guidance.
